SMIT: The Managing Committee of Smit Higher Secondary School, Smit in East Khasi Hills, has announced that the written examination for the posts of Assistant Teacher and Office Assistant will be held on March 14, 2026 at the school campus.
According to an official notice issued by the school’s managing committee, the list of selected candidates along with their roll numbers has already been displayed on the school’s notice board. Candidates have been advised to check the list and follow the examination schedule accordingly.
For the Assistant Teacher post, candidates are required to pay an examination fee of ₹100. Applicants must also submit one recent passport-size photograph along with a valid photo identity card before appearing for the examination. The reporting time and issuance of admit cards will begin at 9:00 AM, while the written examination will be conducted from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon.
Meanwhile, candidates applying for the Office Assistant post will also need to pay an examination fee of ₹100 and submit a passport-size photograph and valid photo ID before the exam. The reporting time and distribution of admit cards for this category will begin at 12:00 noon, with the written examination scheduled from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
The notice was issued by the Secretary of the School Managing Committee (SMC), urging candidates to arrive on time and ensure that all required documents are submitted before the examination.
