SHILLONG: Security has been heightened across Shillong after unidentified miscreants hurled two petrol bombs at the Laban police station in a targeted pre-dawn attack at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Saturday.
The incident, captured on CCTV, has provided police with crucial evidence as they launch a formal investigation.
Superintendent of Police Vivek Syiem confirmed that two explosive devices were thrown into the station’s premises.

Officers are now analyzing the CCTV footage and other technical evidence to identify and apprehend the culprits.
No arrests have been made so far.
