In a separate incident, miscreants set fire to a motorcycle—suspected to belong to the police—parked along the roadside in Malki.
These incidents followed an earlier attack late Thursday night, when a petrol bomb was thrown at the Nongmensong Police Outpost, damaging the building’s wall and furniture but causing no casualties.
Police have registered a case and launched a full-scale investigation to identify and apprehend those responsible for the arson attacks.
