SHILLONG: A truck transporting tar overturned at Sanmer in Upper Shillong along the road stretch leading to Lum Shillong on Monday.
The vehicle, bearing registration number NL 01AD 1312, was found lying on its side along the roadside when authorities and locals noticed the incident.
The exact time of the accident remains unknown, as neither the driver nor the owner of the vehicle was present at the scene when the overturned truck was discovered.
Sources informed that the truck was carrying tar and was reportedly travelling downhill from the Lum Shillong area towards Sanmer when the mishap occurred.
