SHILLONG: The MRF Mogrip Supercross FMSCI Championship roared into action at Kurkalang Stadium in Ri Bhoi on Saturday, with high-octane racing and adrenaline-fuelled performances captivating motorsport enthusiasts across the city.
Riders delivered a thrilling spectacle on the dirt track, executing daring jumps and engaging in intense wheel-to-wheel battles, as an enthusiastic crowd cheered from the stands.
The event kicked off with gates opening at 2:00 PM, followed by a live band performance that set the tone for the evening. Racing action officially began at 5:30 PM, drawing loud applause as competitors showcased their skill, speed, and control.
With electrifying competition and strong spectator turnout, the championship is in full swing, further cementing Meghalaya’s emergence as a growing hub for major sporting and motorsport events.
