Shillong, Dec 04: A team of the Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) on Thursday raided a house at Lum Survey, leading to the recovery of a significant quantity of drugs.
Acting on specific inputs about the presence of narcotics in the area, ANTF personnel swiftly moved to the location and apprehended one individual. During interrogation, the suspect led the police to his residence, where a thorough search was conducted.
The raid resulted in the seizure of 40 plastic drug containers, two soap cases, and drugs weighing approximately 25.45 grams.
Police said that investigations are underway to identify others involved in the illegal activity. The arrested individual has been taken into custody for further questioning.
