SHILLONG: The father of Sonam Raghuvanshi declined to comment to the media after stepping out of the District Sessions Court in Shillong on Tuesday evening.
The development comes after Sonam Raghuvanshi, accused of murdering her husband Raja Raghuvanshi with the alleged assistance of her associates, was granted bail in connection with the case.
The incident dates back to May 2025, when Raja Raghuvanshi was allegedly killed in Sohra during the couple’s honeymoon, shortly after their marriage.
Notably, Sonam’s bail comes just a month ahead of the first anniversary of the alleged murder.
While Sonam has been released on bail, the other accused in the case, including her alleged boyfriend, continue to remain in judicial custody.
