SHILLONG: Unidentified miscreants hurled a petrol bomb at the Nongmynsong Police Station at around 9:30 PM.
According to the Officer-in-Charge, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were present on the upper floor of the building at the time of the incident.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the overall damage remained minimal, though a chair situated near the area was charred.
While the police station itself lacks CCTV surveillance, law enforcement officials announced that they will register a case and examine footage from cameras installed in adjacent neighboring properties to identify and apprehend the culprits involved in the attack.
