SHILLONG: The Meghalaya Cage Fight (MCF) has announced a major Fight Night event titled “War in Jowai”, scheduled to be held on March 6, 2026, at the Chuwakhu Indoor Hall in Jowai.
Addressing the media at the Shillong Press Club, MCF President Samual Lyngdoh said the event will feature around 10 fighters from across Meghalaya, along with participants from Arunachal Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
He informed that one of Meghalaya’s prominent fighters, Ronal Khyriem, will take on an opponent from Assam, a bout expected to be among the highlights of the evening.
The organisers have invited sports lovers and fight enthusiasts to attend the event and witness high-intensity mixed martial arts action. Tickets will be available at the venue on the day of the event, priced at ₹500 and ₹1,000.
The Fight Night is expected to attract a large audience and play a significant role in promoting mixed martial arts and combat sports in Meghalaya.
