SHILLONG: The Department of Commerce and Industries, Government of Meghalaya, inaugurated the second edition of the Reverse Buyer Seller Meet (RBSM 2.0) at the State Convention Centre on Thursday.
The two-day event is designed to create new business and export opportunities for the state’s Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
Over 400 entrepreneurs from all 12 districts are expected to engage in more than 800 structured business meetings with 30 national and international buyers.
The event aims to connect Meghalaya’s agro-products, handlooms, bamboo, and artisan goods with wider domestic and global markets.
Deputy Chief Minister Sniawbhalang Dhar, addressing the inaugural programme, highlighted the state’s natural resources, skilled workforce, and strategic location near the Bangladesh border as key strengths for enterprise growth.
