SHILLONG: Unidentified miscreants targeted the Directorate of Mineral Resources (DMR) office in Risa Colony, Shillong, with a petrol bomb attack around 3:30pm on September 16, 2026.
While employees were present inside, no casualties or injuries were reported.
An official vehicle (ML 05 AC 0429) sustained damage after one bomb exploded near the boundary wall and another landed in an adjoining compound.
Laitumkhrah Police responded swiftly to the scene and have launched a thorough investigation into the incident.
